Focused on high quality food, the Sackville CSA provides members with a practical and tasty way to eat local food throughout the year. The CSA builds strong relationships between producers and members by ensuring members know how their food was produced, where it grew, and who grew it.
Did you know that New Brunswick imports about 85% of our food?
New Brunswick’s heavy reliance on imported food puts our food supply at risk. Support local farmers by eating fresh and tasty food that is grown to strict Health Canada guidelines.
What do Sackville CSA Members get?
The CSA makes it easy to get to know local farmers and brings farmers and consumers together. Some producers offer weekly vegetable packages while others offer fresh produce on an as needed basis. The CSA provides members with notification of market style produce pick-ups, farm visits and tours and supports the Sackville Farmer’s Market.
